Overview
The following are the Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) that govern your access to and use of
our website, which is owned and operated by The Mind Veda, having its office at 55/6,
Basement, Old Rajinder Nagar, Delhi, India – 110060.
Before using our website, you should read the T&C carefully. By accessing this website, you
shall be deemed to have read, understood and accepted to be bound by the T&C together with
the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to be bound by any of the terms of the T&C, you must
cease using our website.
You must understand that psychological counselling and psychiatric consultation cannot be
described in general terms. Our Services may vary from therapist/counselor to
therapist/counselor and are also dependent upon your needs. Your sessions and evaluation can
involve discussions of unpleasant experiences and you may experience anger, guilt,
frustration, helplessness or other negative feelings.
Disclaimer
The content on this website and on our social media accounts is for informational purposes
only and shall not be treated as a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Reliance on any such information is solely at your own risk.
We are not a suicide prevention helpline/platform. We neither provide emergency services
nor prescribe any psychiatric medications. If you are undergoing any situation of crisis or
stress or having suicidal thoughts, etc., you may immediately contact the emergency helpline

Definitions
“Content” refers to textual, visual or audio content that is published on this website and on
our social media accounts. It may include, among other things, text, images, sounds, videos
and animations.
“Intellectual Property Rights” include patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets,
service marks, database rights, design rights, moral rights, or any other property rights (in
each case, whether registered or not and including applications for registration, if any) over
our Content.
“Services” include psychological counselling and psychiatric consultation provided by the
therapist or the counselor of The Mind Veda, including psychometric evaluations and tests.
“TMV”, “we”, “us”, “our” shall refer to The Mind Veda, its employees and team members
that perform any services on our behalf.
Age Criteria
You must be 18 years of age or older or of the legal age as per the law applicable to you to
form a binding contract to use our Services. If you are the parent or legal guardian of a child
under the age of 18 or of the legal age as mentioned above, you may use our website or
Service on behalf of such minor child.
Therapists/Counselors
Every therapist/counselor engaged by TMV is a registered, trained and experienced
practitioner with recognized professional qualifications and is accredited by their individual
professional organization after acquiring the requisite education, skills, training and practice
criteria.
Our function is limited to assigning therapist/counselor and the Services are the responsibility
of the therapist/counselor who offers them. You may request TMV to switch to a different
therapist/counselor who provides Services if the therapist/counselor assigned to you provides
Services that do not meet your needs or expectations. If the therapist/counselor you have been
assigned quits at any point after you have been assigned, TMV will assign a new
therapist/counselor to you.
Sessions
Your session shall take place either at our office situated at 55/6, Basement, Old Rajinder
Nagar, Delhi or through video call/phone call/email. Our business hours are generally from
10 A.M. to 6 P.M. (IST) from Monday through Saturday, subject to public holidays. The
duration of each session shall be 60 minutes and the sessions shall be scheduled according to
the mutual agreement between you and your therapist/counselor, depending on your needs
and your therapist/counselor’s availability. You must arrive for the session on time and if you
are late, the duration of the session shall be reduced by the time of late arrival.
TMV reserves the right to terminate the sessions if you make any verbal or written or
physical threats or engages in any act of violence towards the person or the property of the
therapist/counselor or the other employees or our office. TMV also reserves the right to
terminate the sessions if you deliberately fail/refuse to disclose involvement in any legal
proceedings during the first meeting and the same is discovered at a later stage.
Fee
The fee, as prescribed by TMV, shall be payable in advance while booking an appointment
via cash or net banking or UPI. The confirmation of your appointment is subject to the
payment of the fee. The fee is dependent upon a number of factors, including the duration of
the session, the kind of service availed by you, the type of psychometric evaluation suggested
by the therapist/counselor or opted by you, etc.
If you contact the therapist/counselor through telephone apart from your usual sessions and
such telephonic conversation lasts longer than 10 minutes, then TMV shall charge a fee on a
prorated basis which shall be computed from the fee of a regular session. If you fail or refuse
to pay the fee, TMV reserves the right to have legal recourse to the courts in Delhi.
Cancellation
If you wish to cancel or reschedule the session, it shall be done before 2 (two) hours of the
scheduled session. If you do not show up for the session without cancelling in advance or
cancelling it with less than 2 (two) hours’ notice, TMV shall be entitled to keep the fee for
the session without refunding the same to you, unless we have a reason to believe that the
reason for not showing up or late cancellation was due to reasons beyond your control.
Intellectual Property
TMV owns the Content on our website and social media accounts. You are not permitted to
copy, modify, adapt, create derivative works based on, display, publish, distribute, transmit,
broadcast, sell, license, or otherwise exploit our Content and violate our Intellectual Property
Rights.
Our name and logo are TMV’s trademarks and they shall not be duplicated, imitated, or used
in whole or in part without our prior written permission.
Cancellation

Liability
You hereby agree to not hold us liable for causes of action and claims of any kind arising out
of information available through blogs, videos and other similar modes accessible through
our website. You use our website at your own risk.
You understand, agree, and acknowledge that our total liability for damages arising from your
use of our services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the session by you or on your
behalf in the six (six) months preceding the date of the claim.
TMV does not file for reimbursement or endorse the filing for reimbursement from any
government or privately funded insurance programs for providing any of its Services.
Representations and Duties
You hereby confirm that you satisfy the Age Criteria as mentioned above and are legally
capable of consenting to receive our Services.
You agree not to post on our website or social media accounts either of the following:
- malicious software or code;
- content that is harassing, abusive, threatening, illegal, obscene, offensive, or potentially harmful;
- content that infringes a third party's rights, including intellectual property rights;
- content that may be in violation of any applicable law.
You hereby confirm and acknowledge that any information you have given on our website or to TMV while availing any of its Services,
as well as information you may supply in the future, is accurate, true and complete.
You will indemnify us from and against any and all claims, losses and causes of action
including, but not limited to, litigation fees and expenses arising out of or related to any of
the following:
- your violation of any of the provisions of the T&C;
- failure to pay for any of our Services;
- your violation of any third-party right, including, without limitation, any intellectual property right, confidentiality or privacy right.
Dispute Resolution
Our T&C and Privacy Policy shall be construed and interpreted in accordance with and
governed by Indian laws and all disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delhi.

Waiver
Any waiver by either party of any breach of any provision of the Agreement shall not operate
or be construed as a waiver of any subsequent breach.
Notice
Any notice given to either party under this Agreement shall be made in writing. Notices shall
be deemed to be given when delivered by hand or when e-mailed/mailed and addressed to:

Modification
TMV reserves the right to make changes/amendments to T&C and the Privacy Policy at any
time. Any such changes/amendments will become effective immediately upon posting to the
website and your continued use of our website and/or the Services constitutes your agreement
to such changes/amendments. You must periodically review the T&C and the Privacy Policy
as posted on the website. If you do not agree to the changes/amendments, you must terminate
access to our website and stop using our Services.
